Insight not Uptight: Proven Tools to Control Stress
More and more health care providers feel as if they are spending their life running on an endless treadmill. They often feel exasperated because they never really enjoy the life they work so hard to achieve. They have the impression that the system is working against them resulting in more work hours, more pressure and less reimbursement. Many of them sacrifice their personal life for their professional calling; stress, frustration, and resignation have become their constant companion.
This seminar will teach participants the importance of personal energy management. What we resist, persists. Life doesn’t have to be a struggle. Turning stress into a powerful positive influence is about identifying what is important and releasing what is not. Success and personal satisfaction are achieved by recognizing the differences and regaining control of life. During the program participants will:
- Realize how we create our own stress.
- Learn three categories of stressors
- Identify their unique stressors
- Understand the role of emotions in stressful situations
- Learn effective ways to manage emotions
- Realize the importance of integrating energy boosters in their lives

Be the Leader of your Pack
Many people believe that leaders are born. The truth of the matter, however, is that leadership is a skill that can be learned and improved upon daily. By training her German Shepherd, Cito, Personal Coach Iris Grimm realized that Cito revealed more to her about leadership than any book.
Cito is a well recognized dog. His work as a therapy dog was featured on Atlanta’s Fox 5 News, Channel 11 and Channel 46 and his story was published in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Cito and Iris also compete nationally in a dog sport called Schutzhund.
In this presentation, Iris will entertain, inspire and challenge through personal stories, universal truths and demonstration videos to impart valuable leadership lessons. This presentation will change your perspective on the role of a leader and offer a renewed approach to your staff. After all, leadership is about behavior that we demonstrate and refine every day. A special, one-hour presentation.
P.S. If the environment allows it Cito will join the presentation “in person”.
